Our shortest possible promise
SnapDo only reads the images you choose to scan. It never automatically scans your whole library. You are always in control of your data.

📋1. Information we collect
SnapDo AI only collects the information needed to provide the service. We do not collect excessive or irrelevant data.
1.1. Information you provide directly
Account (optional): Name and email address if you register an account to sync your data.
Feedback: Anything you send through the contact form or support email.
1.2. Information collected automatically
Usage data: Which features are used and how often you scan — not linked to your personal identity.
Device data: Device type, OS version and language — only to improve your experience.
Crash reports: Anonymous technical logs when the app encounters an error.
🔒 We do not collect: phone numbers, GPS location, contacts, or any biometric data.

The information we collect is used only for the following purposes:
Providing and improving screenshot analysis
Syncing your data across your devices (if you have an account)
Sending the reminder notifications you enabled (weekly/monthly)
Anonymous aggregate analytics to improve the product
Technical support when you contact us
We do not use your information for: targeted advertising, building personal profiles, or selling to third parties.
📸3. Images and scan data
This is the most important part, because SnapDo processes your images. We want to be fully transparent:
3.1. The images you choose to scan
SnapDo only accesses the images you actively select during a session
Images are sent to the AI server for analysis — encrypted in transit
Original images are not stored permanently on our servers after the analysis is done
The analysis results (extracted text, action items) are stored in your account
3.2. What SnapDo does NOT do
It does not automatically scan your entire photo library
It does not run in the background and access images on its own
It does not use your images to train our AI (unless you explicitly opt in)
It does not perform facial analysis or recognize people in images
✨ The golden rule: You always know which images SnapDo is processing. There is never any "silently in the background".
🤝4. Sharing information
SnapDo AI does not sell, rent or trade your personal data.
Technical partners
We use a few third-party services to operate the app:
AI provider: Processes images to extract information — only the images you pick, under strict confidentiality agreements
Cloud storage service: Stores your encrypted account data
App analytics: Anonymous data about how people use the app
All partners must follow our privacy policy and are not allowed to use the data for their own purposes.
Legal cases
We only disclose information when required by a valid legal authority, and we will notify you when we are permitted to do so.

We apply industry-standard security measures to protect your data:
TLS/HTTPS encryption for all data in transit
At-rest encryption for stored data
Strict internal access controls following the principle of least privilege
Regular security reviews
No original images kept after analysis is complete
Still, no system is 100% secure. If we discover a security incident affecting your data, we will notify you within 72 hours.

You have the following full rights over your personal data:
Right to access: See the data SnapDo stores about you
Right to rectification: Update inaccurate information
Right to deletion: Delete all your data and account at any time, directly in the app
Right to restrict processing: Turn off AI analysis while still using the app
Right to data portability: Export your data in a readable format
Right to object: Refuse certain kinds of data processing
You can delete your entire scan history right in the app: Settings → Delete scan data. No need to contact us.
👶7. Children and privacy
SnapDo AI is not designed for children under 13 (or the minimum age required by law in your country).
We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you are a parent and discover that your child has provided personal information, please contact us to delete it right away.

When we update this policy, you will be notified through:
In-app push notifications
Email if you have registered an account
A notification banner when you open the app
The "Last updated" date at the top of the page always reflects the current version. Continuing to use SnapDo after changes means you agree to the new policy.
